Alan Reynolds, born in North Carolina and, after several years in England, now a long-time resident of the Netherlands, is a poet who delights in ambiguity, linguistic mischief, and the unexpected possibilities of language. His work has appeared in literary magazines in the United States and the United Kingdom, in anthologies, and widely online.
His poetry explores the pleasures of wordplay, rhythm, sound, and the occasional excursion into nonsense. Equally at home with the lyrical, the philosophical, and the absurd, he enjoys writing poems that reward a second reading—and sometimes a third.
