  1. I can so relate. Having taken 7 years of French in school I was actually pretty good at it, but not having used it for years, I’ve lost so much. Still, I can usually pick up the meaning of small passages when they come along.

  2. In my little village, there is little else spoken but French. Of course, this is France. There are a few Brits but they, for the most part, keep to themselves, and a few from Holland and Spain but most of the time it is, French. C’est la vie.
